Wednesday Prayer groups
As a church we believe in answering the call in Colossians 4:2 to “continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.” Our prayer groups come together with their families on Wednesday evenings to worship and pray together. Both Pastor Gary Kau and Pastor Nathan Hoeft host a group in their homes.
Young Adult Ministry
Our Young Adult ministry brings singles, students, and young professionals into purposeful Gospel community. As we engage with God’s Word, we are encouraged and edified to simply be the church as described throughout scripture and in Acts 2:42: “And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” The young adult ministry gathers weekly for Bible study on Sunday evenings in different homes.
Living Youth
Our Living Youth gathers and challenges middle and high school-aged students to grow in their relationship with Jesus in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. Youth leaders, Luke & Heather Hoeft, gather this group on Sunday mornings between 10:00 and 11:00.
Sunday School
One Way Kids ministry engages grade school-aged kids in learning the stories of the Bible through creative, interactive activities in and outside of a traditional classroom setting. We believe that these formative years in the lives of our children are precious when considering the biblical charge to “bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4). The One Way team gathers their class on Sunday mornings between 10:00 and 11:00.
Nursery
Our Nursery and Preschool programs provide a safe and secure environment for our little ones. With a staff of nursery workers representing decades of experience in this ministry, it is our mission to give parents reason to feel completely confident in using this resource. When dropping off, our nursery staff will gladly tailor their care for your child to their personal needs. And with a remote-paging system, you will have immediate notification if you are needed. Nursery services are available from 10:00 until the end of the 11:00 service.
Awana
AWANA offers a curriculum that reaches kids and their families with the gospel. The curriculum and programs start with Pre-K and continue through 12th grade. The AWANA program at Twin Lakes has been operating for over 25 years. AWANA goes from September through April from 5:00-6:30 on Sunday evenings. For more information call the church office.
